Collision on R28 leaves four injured
Passengers from the light motor vehicle sustained minor to moderate injuries while the truck driver had no injuries.
Four people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a truck on the R28 near Westonaria early on Monday.
According to ER24 spokesperson “When paramedics arrived on scene, they found the light motor vehicle in one of the lanes while the truck was parked a few meters away from the light motor vehicle to the side of the road.
“ER24 found four patients sitting aside the light motor vehicles. They were then assessed and it was found that they had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate — no serious injuries were reported.
“The minor to moderate injuries were treated and the four patients were transported to Leratong Hospital for observation while the truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
“Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
