White monopoly capital the real enemy – Malema

EFF leader speaks about the future, white monopoly and xenophobia during one hour speech.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema on Sunday addressed the people of Mohlakeng in all their numbers.

Thousands gathered at what is popularly know as the Usave square.

The crowd was greeted by yells of “amandla, awethu” shouted from the back of a white bakkie by the EFF Executive Committee.

Various residents took to the make-shift-stage to complain about alleged poor service delivery from the ANC-run municipality.

When Julius Malema, Commander in Chief of the EFF’s time came to deliver a speech, he spoke for approximately an hour.

Malema touched on the EFF in years to come, the ANC, white monopoly capital being the real enemy and lastly, xenophobia.

With regard to xenophobia he said, “Stop turning on each other. We are all part of Africa, these people housed us during the struggle, do not forget that.”

Regarding the ANC, Malema said “They divide our people. Divide and rule; they must stop using apartheid tactics. They are the African National Corruption.”

In terms of the EFF protest march on Wednesday 4 February, the EFF spokesperson for Gauteng Ntobeng Ntobeng stated that, “the ANC is responsible. They will always act with criminality.”

In addition to this, it was stated that the gathering was deemed illegal and that “EFF members are not to gather publicly in Mohlakeng following the interdict against us,” Malema said mockingly. “We will not obey this,” he adds.

One of the most noted points in his speech is that, “The real enemy is white monopoly capital.”

Before the address by Malema, Ntobeng stated that, “we know they are going to shoot us and we are ready. They said that they will start shooting when the sound system goes on.”

No shooting occurred during Malema’s address and no police reports so far indicate that shooting or violence have occurred.
