All over town the Randfontein Local Municipality is fixing the roads, but nothing seems to be done about the potholes in Wildebeest Street in Greenhills.
This piece of road is so horrible to drive on and to make matters worse, the shade of the surrounding trees hides the potholes so we cannot see them in the road.
I really want the municipality to repair this street as this truly is a safety hazard for every motorist who makes use of this road daily.
As a resident of the area, I feel that it is unfair that this area is last on the list to receive much-needed attention and it cannot go on like this any more, something must be done about these potholes.
As a motorist, I cannot overtake a parked vehicle in this road without inflicting damage on my car and then we have to pay these damages.
Something must be done. We are tax-paying residents and deserve better.
