With the rainy season upon us, it is good to see that the Randfontein Local Municipality started fixing the potholes around town.
Every year the rain does a lot of damage to our roads. This year the municipality started fixing the potholes before the rain started – something they haven’t done in a long time.
I truly hope that this will minimise the damages on our roads during the rainy season.
I also want to thank the municipality for their good work fixing the roads in and around Randfontein and urge them to keep it up.
It is a pleasure once again to travel on Randfontein’s roads and I believe that this is thanks to the Randfontein herald that identified and addressed the problem in the newspaper.
With all the articles and letters published, I believe that the municipality could not ignore the problem any longer.
