Teenage pregnancy is getting out of hand and this is something we cannot afford.
Although we constantly create awareness about safe sex, the dangers of not abstaining from sex and protecting yourself, we still see more teenagers fall pregnant and this can be attributed to ignorance.
I urge the Department of Education to revisit on how to tackle the issue of having effective sexual education in schools.
Such things really are to the detriment of our current generation and if we are not careful and address these issues now, they will affect our future generation and before we know it, we will have so many children giving birth to children and so many children born out of wedlock.
