Help the Angels

The Adonia Angels Project strives to help Randfontein's disadvantaged elderly and calls on the community to be part of their success.

The Adonia Angels Project, is a non-profit organisation that started with one goal in mind – to help the disadvantaged elderly in the community.

According to the founder of this organisation, Corrie van Loggerenberg, she started the Adonia Angels Project three years ago and since then, they have had great success in fulfilling their dream.

“There are so many elderly people in our community who are neglected by their family, who are in desperate need of love, support and comfort.

“Therefore it is our goal to be there for these people,” says Corrie.

“All of us at Adonia want to make life a little easier for our elderly.”

Corrie and her team also provide everyday necessities such as toiletries and food to elderly who cannot afford it.

In order to fund their work, Adonia Angels hosts various fundraisers each year.

One of them being their annual beauty pageant.

“Without funds, our work will not be possible.

“Therefore I want to thank everyone who has helped us in the past.

“But I also want to invite those interested to become part of the success behind this organisation,” says Corrie.

“The sad thing is, there are so many elderly people who have nothing.

“Our goal is to try and help every elderly person in need by raising funds and awareness for this cause.”

Anyone who wants to become part of Adonia Angels’ success can contribute.
