Five seriously injured in accident
The cause of the accident will remain a subject of police investigation.
Four people sustained serious injuries and another motorist was found to be in a critical condition after two cars were involved in a massive side impact collision on 5 October on the Ventersdorp Road in Randfontein.
According to Netcare911 spokesperson Santie Steinmann, it is unclear how the incident occurred but one vehicle smashed into another on the side, leaving all occupants seriously injured.
“All injured parties were treated and stabilized at the scene.
“They were later taken to the nearby hospital where they received further care,” says Steinmann.
She adds that the cause of the accident will remain a subject of police investigation.
