Local supermarket robbed

Three men robbed a local supermarket and held the business owner at knife point.

A Mohlakeng supermarket was robbed and the owner held at knife point on 27 July.

According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, the 34-year-old business owner was busy in his store when three men entered and asked for an empty bottle.

One of the men produced a knife, held the owner at knife point while another suspect grabbed a bottle as well as some wallets that were on sale in the store.

The suspects fled on foot.

No injuries were sustained during the incident.
