Lenmed Randfontein celebrates their nurses

The theme for this year is 'Our Nurses, Our Future'.

Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital celebrated their nurses on International Nurses’ Day which took place on Friday, May 12.

One of the organisers Tsholofelo Radebe said the theme for this year is ‘Our Nurses, Our Future’. They also had footsteps all over the hospital to remind the nurses that they are leaving footsteps for the coming generation of nurses.

“It was a beautiful day and our nursing directors also reminded our nurses how special and important they are in the health industry. There will be no hospital without nurses, the hospital wouldn’t function.”

She added that their nursing staff is very important to the hospital, doctors, and the community. The day was held to remind them that their contribution is appreciated and noticed and that they are seen.

The nurses also took part in the nurse’s pledge and there was a speech from Doctor Dipuo Masege who has been at the hospital for more than 20 years and knows all of the nurses.
