This is according to acting Bekkersdal Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks who said the missing person in question has been identified as 26-year-old Ndzodzo Hlungwani.

“The uncle of the missing person said that he left his nephew at home on March 7, at around 10:00. At the time he was inside the yard and wearing a red t-shirt and black jeans.

“The uncle returned on March 10 and wanted to take his nephew to the clinic. That’s when he realised that his nephew wasn’t home and he received information that the 26-year-old said he will go to a clinic in Zuuberkom.

“We understand that the uncle went looking for him at the clinic and other places but could not find him,” said Hendricks, who added that Hlungwani has been missing since then.
