Police say 94-year-old man missing amid trip to KZN

A pensioner and 94-year-old man left Mohlakeng in early February for KwaZulu-Natal but never reached his destination.

The Randfontein Police needs help finding a missing 94-year-old man.

According to Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, Mandlenkosi Buthelezi, who is a pensioner left Mohlakeng in early February but never reached his destination, KwaZulu-Natal.

“Buthelezi left his house to go visit family in Msinga in KZN but never reached his destination. He was last seen at about 07:00 on Tuesday, February 2 when he packed his bag, and took his Identity Document (ID) and his wireless speaker with him. At the time, his great-grandchild walked with him to Motsumi Street in Mohlakeng where he boarded a taxi and the grandson cannot remember what he was wearing on the day,” said Sergeant Hendricks.

Buthelezi is approximately 1,7 metres tall and weighs 75kg. He has brown eyes as well as black and grey hair and a beard.
