Eight pigs stolen during stock theft incident in Ten Acres
Mapogo A Mathamaga Security released its latest crime report in the Rand West City that included damage to property and theft.
Eight pigs were stolen in Ten Acres in one of seven incidents reported to Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Rand West City between Monday, December 5 and Sunday, December 11.
The security company’s operations manager Ben Willemse explained the incident took place at 05:55 last Thursday, December 8.

“Suspects gained access to the premises by jumping over the perimeter wall,” said Willemse.
Details about other incidents:
1. Wednesday, December 7 at 03:12 – Housebreaking, Village Street, Randfontein CBD
Suspects smashed a shop window and fled when alarm sounded.
2. Thursday, December 8 at 03:00 – Housebreaking and theft, Main Reef Road, Randfontein CBD
Suspects gained access through the roof of the building and an unknown number of items were stolen from the shop.
3. Thursday, December 8 at 04:10 – Housebreaking, Market Street, Middelvlei
Suspects gained access to property by jumping over the front gate. Suspects managed to open bedroom window and bent the burglar bars but fled when alarm sounded.
4. Friday, December 9 at 06:45 — Break-in and theft, Botha Street, Randfontein
Suspects gained entry by breaking a burglar gate and stole an unknown amount of cash.
5. Saturday, December 10 at 11:04 — Vehicle theft, Belladonna Street, Greenhills
Suspects gained entry onto premises and proceeded to steal a Toyota Fortuner.
6. Saturday, December 10 at 12:20 — Housebreaking, Wilbotsdal
Suspects broke into a classroom but fled when alarm sounded.
