Naked body of a man found in Bekkersdal

A man's naked body was found with bruises to the face and head, and in a state of decomposition.

Bekkersdal Bekkersdal Police have asked the public to help find the next of kin of an unidentified man whose naked body was found last Friday, April 29.

According to Bekkersdal Police spokesperson Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, the victim is believed to be in his early 30s and was found at about 16:30 in Bekkersdal. He had bruises on his face and his head, and his body had started decomposing. He was taken to the Carletonville government mortuary.

“His clothes a black jacket and blue track pants were placed next to his lifeless body. The motive for the murder isn’t known at this stage,” Sergeant Lefakane said.
