Woman stabs and kills younger boyfriend ‘during argument’

A woman was charged for stabbing and killing her younger boyfriend over the weekend.

A 30-year-old Mohlakeng woman was arrested for stabbing and killing her 20-year-old boyfriend during the weekend.

According to Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, the victim succumbed to his stab wounds early on Sunday morning December 12 at the Mohlakeng Clinic.

Randfontein Police station commander Brigadier Mashole Jacob Manamela condemned the violent act and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim on behalf of police.

“It doesn’t matter what gender you are but we encourage both men and women to report any kind of abuse; it can be painful, confusing and make you feel ashamed, inadequate and isolated but no one should become a victim of abuse, whether you’re a man or a woman,” Brigadier Manamela said.
