Join South African parents to pray for schools

I am confident that if we join hands in prayer, we will see the change we wish to have in our schools.

I send this message in response to the violence that took place at a Randfontein school. I believe that all of us can make a meaningful change if we work together. Our schools can become a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Our schools have become problematic. Our children have become involved in unruly behaviour – gangsterism, violence, learners attacking one another and their teachers, drug use, teenage pregnancy, bullying, underage drinking, occultism, vandalism and all sorts and manner of immortality in our schools.

It would be a serious indictment on the parents and nation to fold arms and do nothing, whilst the future of our children and the nation is under attack. Working with schools since 2001, I have conducted prayers and have seen God answering.

Therefore, I am confident that if we join hands in prayer, we will see the change we wish to have in our schools.

‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land’ – 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Our answer lies with God. We are losing our children, their destiny is under attack, the future looks bleak and all hope is fading away. As parents we have a duty to claim back their lives from the power of the enemy, who is determined to steal, destroy and kill our children’s future.
