Family run coming to Randfontein
Do not miss out on a Run/Walk race with the family at Sungate Farms on 29 February.
DirtRunners will host its very first Sungate Farms Run/Walk race on Saturday, 29 February.
The race will kick off at 7am. Anyone can enter.
According to Ryno van Vollenhoven who owns the DirtRunners company, they are a new running company in the West Rand.
“This is the only event in Randfontein where you can bring your furry friend with the family to enjoy a great day out. Family and friends are important to us that is why all our events will be family orientated,” said Vollenhoven.
They also have a kiddie run, a 2,5 km, 5km and 10km. Walking is allowed on all the routes.
There will be prizes as well. People can wear anything they are comfortable with.
“At this stage we only accept on the day entries while our website is still being created. Keep an eye out for all our events on Facebook – DirtRunners and updates on the website and near future online entries”, added Vollenhoven.
