Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Randfontein released their latest crime report for the period Monday, 10 February to Monday, 17 February.
According to Herman Coetzee, Operations Manager at Mapogo, the crime report for their client base revealed there were five serious incidents over the past seven days, four more than in the previous week.
“There were three incidents of housebreaking and theft in the Randgate, Helikon Park and Aureus areas; an arrest was made for trespassing in Randpoort, and a borehole pump was stolen in Loumarina.”
But, according to Coetzee, “The increase of crime-related incidents are, however, expected, as we are nearing month end”.
