Several items have been stolen following a break-in at the Women Against Women and Child Abuse (WAWA) centre in Toekomsrus during the weekend.
According to Enrique Bhana, manager of the centre, a break-in occurred on Sunday, 26 January.
“Robbers took everything – from spoons to computer equipment. We have urged our staff members and the community to be on the lookout for a number of items which include a black Lenovo laptop, two Sansui computers, an Epson printer, Muller microwave, DVR camera hard drive and Russel Hobbs kettle. Toiletries, a USB, telephones and blankets were also stolen,” Bhana said.
Bhana added they have since opened a case and further urged the community to come forward with any information.
