Two people were killed and two others injured when a vehicle rolled on the R501 in Carletonville on Friday, 15 February.
“When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 9.30pm, they found a vehicle lying on its roof and two people lying outside of the vehicle. Both of them had sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene by paramedics,” said Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson.

“Two people were also found inside the vehicle. Upon further assessment, it was found that both had sustained moderate injuries,” she added.
According to her, ER24, as well as another medical service at the scene, transported the patients to a hospital for further medical care.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the accident weren’t known to our paramedics. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” she added.
