Service delivery protests flare up in Finsbury

Protesting Finsbury residents demand better service delivery – heavy traffic in the area.

Protesters took to the streets between Middelvlei and Finsbury on Wednesday morning (30 January) demanding better service delivery.

Parts of the R559 and Drakensberg Road in particular were affected but Kenny Mampondo, chief of the Rand West City Traffic Department told the Herald journalist on scene, Tumi Riba, that the road is clear for motorists to use. Traffic is, however, still backed up.
