Arrears amounts notifications only, nothing else?

I really think that this is not something that should be disregarded. It should be investigated and addressed.

I would like to find out if you are investigating the Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) with regard to them not being able to send out water and lights statements for several months, but very easily sending out notifications of arrears amounts?

I also tried to call them today on several numbers, which just don’t get answered, or just get cut off.

The numbers I tried calling (on the arrears letter I received today) are:

• 011 411 0092

• 011 411 0299

• 011 411 0114

• 011 411 0119

• 011 411 0106

In trying to get hold of someone, I called the main number (011 411 0000) seven times – it was answered once, put through to a certain person, and while speaking to him, he acknowledged that they have an issue (but he doesn’t know if it is resolved yet), and then he cut me off.

I really think that this is not something that should be disregarded. It should be investigated and addressed.
