Taxi crashes into tree leaving 11 injured
Eleven people injured as taxi crashes into tree in Tambotie Street early Thursday morning.
Eleven people were left injured after a taxi crashed into a tree on Tambotie Street, Randfontein early this morning (Thursday, 15 November).
Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson, said when they arrived on scene shortly after 8am, they found a taxi off the roadway and several people seated on the pavement.

“Upon further assessment, paramedics found 11 patients who had sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, no-one sustained any serious injuries. ER24, as well as another medical service on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.”
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to the paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene.
