Results from Oval Raceway event
Randfontein Oval Raceway Hot Rods for all the fanatics next weekend as well as recent results.
Roaring engines were again the order of the day during a Randfontein Oval Raceway event on Saturday, 18 May.
The results of the race in the respective categories are as follows:
• Kiddies:1st Stian Smit, 2nd Jakes Jacobs, 3rd Gavin East
• Rookies: 1st Marilize Coetzee, 2nd Este Lubbe, 3rd Amika le Roux
• 8V Midgets: 1st Shaun de Koker, 2nd Francois Walstrand, 3rd Jan de Bruyn
• 1660s:, 1st Ruan de Lange, 2nd Sam East, 3rd Ludi Schnelle
• Flexis: 1st Ben Morgenrood, 2nd Albert vd Westhuizen, 3rd Deon Coetzee
• Hotrods: 1st Carlo v Zyl, 2nd Pierre Lubbe, 3rd Albert vd Westhuizen
• 2100s: 1st Gideon v Zyl, 2nd JP Botha, 3rd Jacques Venter
• Quads: 1st Steven Swanepoel, 2nd Ferdi Kleyn, 3rd Jolandi Kleyn.
On Saturday 2 June, they will host a Hotrod Challenge. The prizes are as follows:
• 1st prize: R5 000.
• Second prize: R3 000
• Third prize R2 000.
Racing starts at 6pm.
