JUST IN: Greenhills accident turns ugly
Man allegedly punches driver after vehicle accident in Greenhills on Saturday morning.
An accident between two light motor vehicles turned ugly in Greenhills on Saturday morning (19 May).
The accident took place at an intersection on Homestead Avenue.
Although authorities are yet to release an official statement, the Herald was told on scene that two children, a young girl and baby sustained injuries and had to be transported to hospital.
Soon after the accident, several people alleged to have witnessed a punching incident.
Percy Opperman, one of the witnesses said, “After the crash, one of the drivers and a man got out of his vehicle and punched the driver of the other vehicle (a woman) in her face”.
The exact cause of the accident is unknown at this stage.
