Businesswoman gives elderly a festive surprise
Local businesswoman hosts a Gogo Christmas Party for the elderly in Mohlakeng.

Local businesswoman Mapheto Sadike from Sadmon Projects and Consulting hosted a Gogo Christmas Party for the elderly at her former home on Matshitse Street, Mohlakeng as a festive-season gesture.

There was also a health-awareness element to the event as the guests were given the opportunity to have various medical tests performed, and several practitioners from the health sector, including community health workers and dietitians gave advice on various ailments such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

There was a variety of entertainment provided by among other the first lady, Ntsiki Khumalo – wife of the Rand West City Local Municipality Executive Mayor Mzi Khumalo, Jonkie and Pretty (gospel artists), the St Ezekiel Brass Band and lastly Nombulelo Tshefu, another gospel artist and presenter from Alex FM. In between the performances most of the elderly were laughing their lungs out thanks to MC Tshepo Ngomezulu

Mapheto said the entire event was motivated by love.
