R’fontein Oval Track attracts more and more visitors!

The Oval Track is becoming the place to be for an alternative type of entertainment.

On Saturday, 4 November, the sounds of roaring engines and excitement filled the air at the Randfontein Oval Track.

The race started at 6pm, with all the competitors, male and female, geared up and ready for action.

With the nice summer weather, the Track is becoming the place to be for a different kind of entertainment, and residents are enjoying the racing so much that the crowds just get bigger and bigger.

Ninjas, 1660s, 2100s, Supers, Side cars, Hot Rods, Midgets, and Super Go Karts all took part in the evening’s racing.

The winners are as follows: 

Ninjas
1st – Helgaardt Westraad
2nd – Ruan de Lange
3rd – Martin Nel

1st – Hano Trichardt
2nd – Ganine Wotherspoon
3rd – JP Botha
