How to: Weatherguard your home against severe weather

Below are some guidelines to ensure your home fares better when bad weather hits:
• Inspect your roof
Conduct a regular inspection and replace broken tiles and repair loose fascia boards. Roofs that are over 15 years old are at particular risk and should be inspected frequently, even if there are no apparent problems. As soon as leaks become obvious they should be repaired.
