Help the Herald warm up an orphaned animal

Are you up to the task Randfontein? Let's give animals a helping hand this winter. Here's how ...

With the days getting shorter, the nights longer – and colder, spare a thought for the animals out there while we are all tucked in warmly under a blanket.

Considering temperatures are already dropping to as low as 7 degrees this coming weekend and before it drops to a freezing -1 in the next two months, the Herald though now is the time to help animals by starting a community project. But we need your help.

Dubbed ‘Help warm up an orphaned animal’, the Herald will run profile articles of various organisations and animal sanctuaries in town soon. They will each have the opportunity to identify themselves, explain what they stand for and list their needs.

It will then be up to you in the public how you would like to assist or help out.

Should you know of any organisation or animal sanctuary please do give us a ring on 011 693 3671 or email us at randfonteinherald@caxton.co.za. Any donation can be dropped off at the Herald offices situated in 113 Kenneth Road, Greenhills in Randfontein.
