Bike event you shouldn’t miss
The Holfontein Bike and Quad Enduro 100 race is on the horizon.
Another action packed “100 Enduro” quad and bike competition will be held by Chris Schoeman on Saturday, 6 May.
This is a 100 kilometre event consisting of an 18,5 kilometre loop, that incorporates fast straight farm land sections, free flowing veld sections, ‘vasbyt’ veld sections, some rocky technical terrain and a 2,8 kilometre semi technical route. This event caters for riders of all abilities.
The quads and bikes will be separate events.This is a fun get together and not a sanctioned race. The categories will be open class, novice class, master class (over 40 years of age), women’s class, juniors (under 16) and youngsters (Under 13) 40 kilometres.
Times are as follows:
• Quad entries 6am until 7.30am. Bike entries 6am to 11.30am. Quad event seeding qualifying starts from 7.30am. Quads starts 8am, Bikes start 12 noon.
The prize giving will take place after each event. Prizes are trophies and gold medals to the category winners. Silver medals for second and third place in each category. Bronze medals to all finishers of the 100 kilometre within the three hour time limit.
Online entries can be done here or entries can also be done at the venue, before the start of both events.
