A 70-year-old couple of which the wife was disabled were found brutally murdered following a farm attack in Poortjie, Jachtfontein on Friday.
According to Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson, their bodies were discovered at about 3.30pm today (13 January) by their workers.
“It is alleged by workers that today was their pay day and the possible motive was that of robbery,” Ernst said.
It is still unknown what was taken as the investigation is still ongoing.
Police are urging anyone who has more information regarding the brutal farm murder to contact the Westonaria Police in order to assist in the investigation.
