Man, 41, critical after vehicle rolls
Man ejected after his car rolls multiple times.
A 41-year-old man was airlifted to hospital and is in a critical condition after his vehicle overturned several times along the Deelkraal Road near Carletonville on Saturday over the weekend.
Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson says, “At approximately 10pm that night, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the man several meters away from his vehicle. It is believed he was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.”
Vermaak added that paramedics found him with critical injuries. He was stabilised and placed on life support while an emergency helicopter was called to airlift him to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
The man was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The exact cause for the incident is not yet known.
