Seven Injured: Taxi goes crashing into fence after collision with truck.

Seven people were injured after a truck and taxi collided in Annan Road, Carletonville on Saturday, 24 September.

Chitra Bodasing-Harduth, the ER24 spokesperson said, “We, along with provincial paramedics, arrived on scene and found the taxi had crashed into a fence after the collision. The truck was found on the opposite side of the road. Upon assessment of the patients, all of whom were travelling in the taxi, it was found they sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

“They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
