Theme for 2017 R’fontein Show announced

Every year the Randfontein Show introduces something new and next year won't be any different.

Planning for the 2017 Randfontein Show is under way and Marcelle Mans, show coordinator, said they are very excited about some new events.

The show will take place at the Greenhills Sport Stadium from Thursday, 2 March to Sunday, 5 March next year.

“Every year we bring in something new and next year will be no different.

At this stage we don’t want to let the cat out of the bag, so people should keep watching our Facebook page and the Herald for information about next year’s big event,” Marcelle said.

Marcelle added the Randfontein Show remains the West Rand’s biggest business and social extravaganza where visitors can look forward to a host of top-class live entertainment, over 400 stalls, various fun rides, competitions and endless mouth-watering food each year.

“We have been providing fun, food and entertainment for the whole family for the past 30 years and pride ourselves on being able to give the West Rand community something to look forward to each year.

“Our theme for 2017 is ‘bicycles’ and it will be interesting to see how the exhibitors use their imagination to decorate their stalls according to that theme. The theme will be displayed all over the show grounds, adding to the vibe and carnival atmosphere.”

The full programme will be available on the website at www.randfonteininfo.co.za, as well as on the show’s Facebook page, early in December. Exhibitors can download a Request to Exhibit form from www.randfonteininfo/exhibitors.html.
