The body of a 28-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his back was found recently.
According to Captain Appel Ernst, the Randfontein Police spokesperson, the discovery was made on 30 July at 7.30am in the open veld in Mohlakeng, near the junction of Biyane and Kabelo Streets.
The man’s family was later traced and informed about his death. Police have called the murder ‘senseless‘ and are currently searching for the perpetrator(s).
The investigating officer is urging Mohlakeng residents to assist in the tracing of the responsible party.
