Young biker seriously injured in crash
It was alleged a car drove in front of the bike, causing the collision.
A youngster in his 20s was left in a critical condition after colliding with a light motor vehicle on Monday.
The collision took place on Buffelskloof Road in Glenharvie.
According to Pieter Rossouw, ER24 spokesperson, “The young man was driving the motorbike when the light motor vehicle allegedly drove in front of him causing the two vehicles to collide.”
Upon arrival, ER24 paramedics found the motorbike rider with various critical injuries. They proceeded to provide him with advanced life support before the ER24 helicopter airlifted the man to Lenmed Hospital.

The driver of the light motor vehicle sustained no injuries.
“The exact cause of the incident remains unknown and local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” Rossouw said.
