Man critical after rolling, crashing into tree

ER24: Upon assessment it was found that he was in a critical condition.

Yet another motorist lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a tree.

The incident took place on Blyvoor Road close to Carletonville on Sunday.

According to Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson, both ER24 and provincial paramedics attended the scene and when they arrived they found that the vehicle had rolled and crashed into a tree.

The car was found about 20 metres away from the road in a bush near the tree it had crashed into. The passenger door was open,” Bodasing said.

The driver, believed to be in his 40s was hanging out of the passenger door. “Upon assessment it was found that he was in a critical condition,” she said.

The man was treated on scene and the ER24 medical helicopter was called out to airlift the man to hospital for further medical assistance.

The cause of the accident was unknown, however, authorities were on scene for further investigations.
