Three injured as vehicle rolls 15 metres

ER 24: The driver lost control of the vehicle.

In the early hours of Sunday, three people were injured when the driver lost control of the vehicle while travelling on East Driefontein Road in Carletonville.

ER24 and provincial paramedics arrived on scene and found the vehicle in the veld after having rolled about 15 metres.

“Three men, believed to be between their mid 30s to early 40s were found near the vehicle. Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that they all sustained moderate injuries,” said Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson.

Bodasing added, “The men were treated and transported to the Leslie Williams and Carletonville hospitals for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
