The search for the Face of West Rand is on
A contract with The Beauty Spot Agency is also up for grabs.
The Face of Westrand (FOWR) is searching for a youthful ambassador in the West Rand district and invites both men and women to enter this exciting competition.
The competition is open for participants between the age of 18 and 25 regardless of race or size. The chosen ambassador will be an advocate of challenges faced by the youth both economically and socially for instance: unemployment, education, job creation, health, sports, as well as leadership and skills development while being a role model to the youth.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, 13 February at Golden House Bread and Breakfast in Randfontein.
Forms are also available and downloadable from their Facebook page “faceofwestrand “. The registration fee is R250. The search for the Face of Westrand will be taking place over the next eight months with the community voting for their favourite ambassador. Every month there will be a theme and tour of the West Rand with the participants.
The main event will be taking place on Saturday, 10 September and prizes worth R100 000 are up for grabs. A contract with The Beauty Spot Agency is also up for grabs.
