Biker seriously injured in crash

ER24: Bystanders on scene explained that a vehicle swerved in front of the biker.

A biker was seriously injured after he crashed into two trees on Annan Road in Carletonville early on Sunday.

ER24 said in a statement “ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the man believed to be in his 20’s lying next to the trees. He was assessed by paramedics and found to have sustained multiple injuries.

He was in a serious condition. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown however bystanders on scene explained that a vehicle swerved in front of the biker. The biker tried to avoid the motorist. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.

This was the second serious accident over the weekend. Two people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision on the N12 on Saturday.
