Toekies CPF takes a stand against drugs

Toekomsrus CPF: To all customers entertaining the dealers – watch your back.

The Toekomsrus CPF has taken a stand and launched their Operation Fed-Up.

Concerned citizens of Toekomsrus together with the Toekomsrus CPF Sector 2, the Randfontein Police, Local Government Drug Association (LDAC), Parents Against Drug Abuse (PADA) and Women Against Women Abuse (WAWA) vow to create a safe community free of drugs.

“It won’t happen overnight but this festive season will be a joyous one for all families who went through hell caused by drugs. So to all customers entertaining the dealers – watch your back,” said Pastor André Roberts, chairperson of the Toekomsrus CPF.

The operation started on Thursday, 10 December where the CPF and its stakeholders patrolled the streets.

Numerous stop and searches were conducted and we confiscated drugs and dangerous weapons which were handed over to our sector manager, Warrant Officer Mokwena,” added Roberts.

The operation will continue through the festive season and will become the new norm in Toekomsrus. Operation Fed-Up also has an anonymous tip-off number that the community can use to inform the relevant people about any illegal activity.

“This is treated with the utmost confidentiality,” he assured.
