Suspected drug dealer nabbed

'The suspect has previously been caught with drugs.'

A suspected drug dealer in his 30s was arrested in Randgate on Tuesday thanks to Special Operations Solutions (SOS).

According to Robbie Dercksen from SOS, they apprehended the suspect after a client complained of the man causing trouble.

SOS Tactical Task Force officers Jaco Calitz and Quinton Pretorius responded to the call and found the suspect in the street.

They searched him and found that the suspect had a bottle neck, a packet with mixed drugs and needles on him. Dercksen added the suspect has also previously caused trouble were he was renting, but now believes that the suspect lives on the streets.

The suspect has previously been caught with drugs and he has also confessed that he is a heroin, dagga and crystal meth drug user.

The Randfontein Police were called and then took over the investigation.

Official comment from Randfontein Police spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst is awaited.
