The manager of a liquor store in the Randfontein CBD has disappeared.
Willem Adriaan (Wimpie) Pretorius , 39, was reported missing on Thursday 26 November, Randfontein Police confirmed.
“Pretorius was last seen when he dropped off his child at a family members’ house in Randfontein. He was wearing a maroon t-shirt with a small collar on which is written Vodacom, light blue long jeans and black safety boots.
He is approximately 1,75 metres tall, weighs approximately 60 to 70 kg, is very skinny, has brown eyes and light brown shoulder length hair. He did not shave that day so he has an unshaven look.
“He was driving a white Toyota Hilux single cab LDV with registration DG26WHGP. The vehicle is his company car. He was on his way to work in the Randfontein CBD where he manages a liquor store.
Any person who can assist in the tracing of the missing man are requested to urgently call the Randfontein duty officer, Captain Smith on 082 568 4583,” said Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for Randfontein Police.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) calls on the help of the community members to assist them with information. Anyone with information can contact the Crime Stop number – 08600 10111 or SMS Crime Line – 32211 to report crime anonymously.
