Boerbul put down after vicious attack

The boerbul dragged an SPCA inspector 20 meters by her arm.

Randfontein and Westonaria’s favourite SPCA inspector was attacked by a vicious boerbul recently.

Janette Muller explained that she was trying to catch the dog when it turned on her and pushed her to the ground.

She said the dog then dragged her by her arm approximately 20 metres from where she was standing until two women managed to pull the dog off her. The two women also got bitten by the dog.

With the best interests in mind of everyone involved the owner of the boerbul made the difficult decision to have it put down. With the owner’s consent a CPF member shot the dog seconds after the attack on the plot,” Muller said.
