Teenager found brutally murdered
Three other teens arrested for the murder – Police.
Three 17-year-old teenagers were arrested for the brutal murder of another teen the Bekkersdal Police said.
Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, spokesperson for the Bekkersdal Police confirmed the incident occurred at approximately 6pm on Monday 14 September.
It is alleged the deceased was walking along the street with his girlfriend when he was attacked by a group of plus minus five men.”
She said the deceased’s girlfriend managed to escape and informed police about the attack. When the police arrived on scene, they found her boyfriend had already passed on.
He sustained multiple stab wounds. The motive for the attack is still unknown to the police,” Lefakane said.
The suspects have been charged with murder and appeared in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court on Monday 21 September.
