A Grade 3 pupil from Glenharvie Primary School Matthew Wright last month competed and excelled in a Mental Maths competition held at Laerskool Gerrit Maritz.
Matthew impressively had to make math calculations of 30 sums in his head in just 10 minutes. He was not aware before the time of any of the questions they were about to ask.
This bright pupil won first place and will now go through to the Mental Maths District level.
Glenharvie Primary is extremely proud of Matthew and wishes him good luck at District level.
