ANC’s gift on Mandela day

'The love Tata Mandela had.'

Executive Mayor Mzi Khumalo of Randfontein addressed residents of the Master Informal settlement in Randgate and provided them with food parcels and blankets on Mandela Day.

Khumalo in concert with Gauteng Department of Social Development and member of Parliament, Chana Pilane distributed these goods in remembrance of the legacy of former president Nelson Mandela.

Grateful destitute families received the food parcels and blankets to make their Mandela day extra special. During his speech, the Executive Mayor made the following remark, “These food parcels are distributed to 67 families, they are not distributed to ANC or any member of a particular political affiliation.

Therefore, it is to be known that we do this in remembrance of the love Tata Mandela had for the people of South Africa.”
