Suspects rob house with knife and brick

Over R20 000 stolen in house robbery.

A total of R24 500 was stolen from a plot in Rikasrus on Thursday at approximately 10pm said Constable Gloria Maswanganye, spokesperson for the Hekpoort police.

According to Maswanganye, a 44-year-old man was allegedly confronted by three suspects while entering his home.

Maswanganye continued “Two of the suspects were armed; one with a knife and the other with a brick. The suspects made away with a flat screen, four cell phones, a tablet, a handbag and R2 000 in cash.”

No suspects have been arrested however, police are busy with an investigation.
