Accident leaves one dead, five injured

A man was killed while five others were injured in a roll-over accident on the N12 near Potchefstroom on Sunday.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha “Although the cause of the accident is still speculative, a report from the scene indicates that the vehicle veered off the road and overturned several times.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene and after triaging found that one man had tragically died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained, five others were in a serious condition.

“After medics treated the injured at the scene, they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.”
