Concerns raised over accident spike in Randgate
Second collision just meters from previous day’s T-bone collision.
A second collision occurred in Randgate just meters from the previous day’s collision – both occurred on Smuts Street.
This following a truck and motorbike collision on Thursday. No serious injuries were reported yet the man travelling on the bike was transported to hospital for observation.
In addition to the collision being the second in two days on the same street, meters from where the latest Randgate collision happened, two vehicles collided on Union and Sauer Street in Randgate. These incidents would make for three collisions in the same area.
Residents from Randgate have previously complained about the way in which people speed on the streets of Randgate.
