Five people were injured following a collision on the N12 near Westonaria between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday.
One person was seriously injured while the rest sustained minor injuries.
The injured were transported to three different hospitals; one to Potchefstroom Hospital another rushed to Leratong and the rest transported to Leslie Williams Hospital.
According to Neels Nolan from ER24, “The cars were travelling on the N12. There is a section in a road where there are stop streets and an island. The one vehicle was turning at the stop street and crashed into the other. The cars basically T-boned.”
